Lintupullo Bird Bottle
A wonderful, elegant purple glass bulbous bird bottle designed by Timo Sarpaneva for iittala in Finland. This is the number 2501 size, a number of different glass decanters or carafes were made in this style and were part of the I-Line series. Designed in the 1950s. Great looking modernist round bulbous form with narrow neck and "bird mouth", believe this is sometimes called a "Lintupullo". Incised on the bottom with TS mark.
In good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or damage. Some debris or dirt to interior, a few light scratches here and there.
